Processing of your data and personal information
Here at Carryabag we collect specific information about our clients, staff and suppliers that will include your name, email address and in some cases, your address and phone number. This is carefully monitored and is only accessible to our trained employees. Please see below the uses for each specific piece of data:
The data provided by Carryabag’s existing customers is used to provide information on our services and/or anything that is specifically requested by you, the user. We will also use the information for billing and account management as well as to communicate with you on how we can best assist your business throughout our relationship with you.
The data provided by Carryabag’s potential customers will be for legitimate business interests only. This includes the interests of our company and how we can work to offer our services to benefit your business as well as ensuring that our marketing is relevant for your business. When managing your data we always take into consideration any potential impact that it may have on you and your rights under the current data protection laws. Please note that we will NOT use your data for activities that are overridden by the impact it could have on you.
Website, Blog & Social Media Content
We, Carryabag will almost always offer content to read and look at through our website, blog platform and social media channels. Many of these will often link through to news feeds and/or other articles that have been produced by other businesses, agencies and publications. If you do choose to read the content from a third-party and leave our website, blog or any other channel for that matter, Carryabag will therefore not be liable for any personal information they may gather from you.
If you correspond with us at Carryabag by email, postal service or any other form of communication including telephone conversation, we may retain the information contained within them to keep a record of a specific enquiry, notification, testimonial, complaint or any other relevant matter concerning our business relationship together.
You will always have the option to STOP receiving emails from Carryabag and we will have to remove your personal data and/or refrain from contacting you again. Of course if you are signing a contract with us at Carryabag then it is necessary to have your personal data to ensure that we can authenticate the contracts and supply you with the services selected.
Data Storage and Retention
Information of your services and purchased goods are maintained safely within your customer account. The personal data that we collect from you is stored in one or more of the following locations:
- A hard copy of your personal data / your contract with us will be stored at our office headquarters
- A digital copy will be stored on Cloud based systems provided by a third-party supplier. (Please note that all of our third-party suppliers have protocols to safeguard customer data.)

When and how we share information
We can assure you that any personal data that we have collected from you that is stored on our Cloud based systems are strictly not used, nor stored by them for their own marketing purposes. The only purpose they have with your data is cloud storage and retrieval.
We may occasionally provide details to a third party to mail information to you for billing purposes.
Otherwise we do NOT reveal any of the personal information you’ve shared with us at Carryabag to any third party supplier unless you have requested it specifically, the information is needed to comply with new regulations or laws such as a court order or to address disputes, claims, emergencies or to protect our rights.
- Have the right to rectify the record of your personal data maintained by Carryabag
- Have the right to be forgotten and requested that Carryabag removes your data from our system for marketing purposes
- Have reasonable access to your personal data and how it is being used
